I’m thrilled to announce that we have moved into the fabulous building formerly known as the Last Chance Dancehall! The original part of the building dates back to the 1860s! It’s been a post office, general store, restaurant, bar, and dancehall over its long history, and we are honored to be the ones to take it into its next life.
Our new location is at 12013 West Hwy 290, just a few minutes west of Oak Hill, where Nutty Brown Rd runs into 290. We are just outside of Austin but still super convenient and easy to locate. Our custom cake division, Cakes ROCK!!!, is located inside Rose Haven!
This is perfect because our previous location became too crowded for our growing team. Now we have enough space for our workspace, tables, refrigerator space, storage, and so much more. This means more space for us = more cakes for you. It's a win-win situation, and we are soooo excited!
Another exciting addition is that we now offer our delicious desserts and cakes for retail sale, ready to go! Yes, you can just stop in and satisfy your sweet cravings!
But the biggest news of all is that this is not ‘just a bakery’! We have also turned this beautiful building into a fabulous event venue! And best of all, it is a most unique venue surrounded by a beautiful antique rose garden. The large back room of the venue flows out onto a large courtyard into the garden.
NO WEDDINGS! There are dozens and dozens of fabulous wedding venues around Austin and the Hill Country. We offer the perfect space for all the events leading up to the weddings, especially focusing on the rehearsal dinners, as it’s so difficult to find a space for those in this area. Plus, the engagement parties and showers. And, of course, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, family reunions, etc. Also, business meetings, corporate events, non-profit events, artisan markets, pet adoption events, community events, and anything else our clients can dream of!
